Erica Auer
Erica Auer is a criminal defense attorney dedicated to advocating for her clients. She grew up in the Bay Area, attended law school at the University of Miami, and returned to the Bay Area to serve her community. As a litigator, she represents individuals accused of crimes in courts throughout the Bay Area, fighting to protect their rights at every stage of the case.
Ms. Auer’s commitment to criminal defense began before law school. She volunteered as an academic tutor with Each One Reach One, an organization devoted to diverting incarcerated youth from a life in prison through mentorship and education. Working closely with young people inside the juvenile justice system exposed her to the deep injustices they faced and motivated her to attend law school to make a meaningful change.
Her practice is grounded in criminal defense and civil rights advocacy. Ms. Auer’s experience includes work with public defender offices and organizations focused on criminal justice reform and post-conviction relief.
Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Auer spent nearly a decade working in business operations and analytics in the Bay Area tech sector. That background informs her strategic, detail-driven approach to litigation and case analysis.
Ms. Auer is committed to providing fearless, thoughtful representation to people facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
